I really like a coworker. I sincerely do. He is one of a kind, he is very special, sweet and mostly smart. He is one year older than me, but he is so grown up. He makes everything look easy and nothing seems to stop him from what he wants. And he is nice to people.
I think we are very like mindeds, when we disagree is not hard to find common ground. But has I said he is so grown up and so independent. He knows about my psychiatric issues, and he doesnt care, he sees me as a person even so. And he is a great singer (I allways want to end up with a singer, god knows why!). He is on the military, he has a renting business and he is a doctor as I am, and he jugles everything. And he has a prespective on life I never met someone who thought like him, but he has a hard military training. We have similar views about how the world works and about people. And I can talk to him so freely. He is complicate a lot and he has a way to make things look easier. I want to date him, dispite everyting (my psychiatric issues)... he has his faults, that I dont mind, and he is so trustworthy. I never dated, but it feels so diferent from all the boys and men I had a crush on. I feel I can trust him, I can share anything with him and I appreciate so much is personality. He had shown affection towards me, but if he likef me, he would make a move... __________________ I am not crazy, I am hurt |

Hi mulan. I can see that you have common ground with this person so it makes sense you would enjoy their company.
The biggest problem I see is that if you did get involved with a coworker and a relationship developed, then there is the problem of what would happen if the relationship went bad. Would that mean one or both of you might have to leave the company. You said " He had shown affection towards me, but if he likes me, he would make a move..." I agree and he may have thought out the possible consequences of a relationship with a co worker and that could be why they are not making a move. He sounds very polite and considerate. It seems like you are fortunate to have a good coworker. __________________ Super Moderator Community Support Team "Things Take Time" |

In my humble opinion, Dating a co worker is never a good idea. Sometimes the best of relationships are built on the foundation of friendships. No need to get romantic feelings involved at this time. Focus on building your friendship with him and see how that goes first. My opinion.
