Waiting to hear back when training starts, am nervous.

It was getting in the way so I told my manager about my GAD. He didn’t say much just that I was doing a good job and when I use my sick pay it doesn’t count against me and I won’t get in trouble for calling in. I told him about my sleep problems as well.

Things are going alright.

I’m struggling a lot at work. I wonder if people think I’m sick. I lost 1.5 pounds since I was at work on Tuesday. People seem to be very wary of me all of a sudden and unsure of what to say to me. It’s unsettling and discouraging.

Volunteering is going well. I am running a business too but it's pretty slow.

I felt kinda bad today because I was getting a text from my mom that was getting me upset so I told the manager I was going on break. It was 10 minutes past our typical break time anyways but we have been going later these past couple weeks. My manager then yelled “break time!” So everyone went at the same time that I did. I felt like I uprooted the entire department because I said I was going to go on break so the manager decided that all of us should go. I didn’t mean for everyone to go when I wanted to I just really needed to address the texts I was getting.

My issues really are getting in the way of how I’m working. I think my managers are getting frustrated with me. I’m trying my best but I’m getting just as frustrated with myself. I really need my vacation next week.

Business is picking up a little. I need to crunch some numbers as soon as possible to see how much I am really making.

I really wanted to leave early today. But then I realized time was going by pretty fast and I could handle it. Also I had one too many Mountain Dews and Cokes this morning and didn’t realize how badly needing to use the bathroom was playing into my anxiety about work.

I really wanted to call in and take a mental health day today. Depression has really been kicking my butt. I didn't though. I forced myself to come into work, thinking I could get distracted. I haven't though as there hasn't been a lot of work to be done yet, there may be more this afternoon. I really don't talk about my MI at work because I am afraid of the consequences but I did tell one of my coworkers who is in a supervisory position. She was really great about it. She made me feel very accepted. She said she would never judge me for that and to not be so hard on myself. Like @Mountaindewed, I really want to leave early today. But I don't have a good reason that I could use to leave early so I will stay. At work people think I'm competent so I don't want to make them think otherwise. Sometimes working with disorders can be very difficult. It cuts both ways too. Because I can go to work and do my job and work full time and volunteer, people think I'm doing better than I am. No, I just have bills to pay and I have to work to pay those bills. But I guess I hide it well, how much I struggle. I wish I didn't have to. But it isn't safe to disclose in the workplace too much about MI.

I feel kinda depressed. My application in one of big corporation got rejected. I admit it's my fault though. I'm too careless and did not recheck my answers during the test session.

Today work is hard. I have zero motivation. I don't want to be here. I don't want to work. I don't want to sit in meetings. I don't want to figure things out. And my concentration sucks. So it's even worse. It can be so hard to work with depression. Oh and then it's like I have to be fake and put on a happy face. Like everything is great and smiley and wonderful.

Work wasn’t terrible today considering the circumstances. My sleep issues were difficult and I wanted to call in but I’m off the next 3 days so that would look really bad. I was tired and out of it most of the day but I was working with a good coworker. I don’t think I did my best though but no one said anything and people were nice today.

And I just had 3 days off. So calling in today would have looked really really bad. I’m glad I’ve been able to push myself when I don’t want to go in.

Another day, another rejection....

Well, today I finally got one response from a volunteering work I've applied. Kinda sad though, because I only got one from several applications. Furthermore, I don't think I fit for the position

I feel kinda bad because I called into work this morning but I caught something on my vacation and I also have the ****s as well. So I feel really bad physically. I dreaded calling them but I talked to the new guy and he was really nice.

I wanted to call out of work today and take a mental health day instead but I went to work. I haven't been doing much work--though not much work to do. I feel like a waste of space really.

Work called today and wanted to switch my schedule around next week. It will mean I’ll have a 3 day weekend and he seemed really happy to talk with me. So I feel relieved that they are not mad at me. And I also get a 3 day weekend. Score.

Things have been pretty much the same. No complaints. I'm still poor but oh well.
