My boss (different one then the one I dealt with yesterday) called me this afternoon and asked if I could work tomorrow. Thank God my mom doesn’t need to leave for her appointment until an hour after he told me I’d be off. I haven’t felt this good physically in a week, and I feel really guilty, so I told him yeah I could work those hours. I also apologized for these past 2 work days. I hope they are not too mad at me tomorrow.

Yesterday, I worked from my personal laptop. It made me realize how powerful my laptop compared with my working PC despite it was cheaper and older. I've complained the erroneous PC to the IT so many times, but no action has been taken. Sometimes, I wish I was authorized to tweak my working PC to make it better by myself.

I’m just going to ignore my coworkers texts and just be polite to them at work. I’m tired of these looks and smiles they give each other when I ask one of them a question. They just don’t seem like legit friends. I’m not going to do it.

1. I'm tired of the revision. The bosses keep changing their request it makes the result truly differ than the inital request. And all the revisions always come RIGHT before the last printing step. Can't they set up their mind?
2. We were promised to get a raise this month, but for unknown reason, we don't. I'm envious with my friend from another workplace who has earned hers since this new year. 3. Annoying coworkers asked me to do her personal job. I normally wouldn't charge if the job is small, but hers is complex and too big. And she obviously want a free ride. So no, ******. 4. I am tired with my working PC. Took forever to load and wastes so much times. IT guy is useless. |

I had fleeting thoughts of quitting my job on Friday morning, all because of the lack of communication from the man who is training me and the other two new hires. I am finding it hard to figure out what is expected of me. He isn't giving any feedback unless it is negative which is very irritating. Plus we have gotten into trouble a few times from other coworkers for following his instructions.
My manager asked to see me to sign a document. After that was done, he asked me how it was going. I told him the lack of communication has been challenging, because I don't know what is expected of me. He told me the guy was new and struggling with articulation. He offered to speak to him about it. I told him that I would prefer to talk to him about it. He agreed that was the best approach. I'm not looking for a fight. I just want to know what is going on. __________________ Dx: Didgee Disorder Last edited by The_little_didgee; May 26, 2019 at 10:47 AM.. |

Why can’t I get a clear answer on if I get paid time and a half tomorrow? My manager literally told me my question was a good one and then walked out of the room without answering. Wtf?

I need to tell my boss that I am putting in my resignation tomorrow and not sure how he is going to take it. I'm so anxious.

I was sick at the end of last week and had a three day weekend. This was my first time completely off work in a year. Unfortunately I'm still feeling not 100% but I have got to go to meetings today so we shall see how that goes.

They sent us all home half an hour after we got there yesterday because there wasn’t anything to do and they didn’t want to pay us time and a half. Now they want us to work on our day off. I can’t because I’ll be out of town or I would have. My coworker and I feel like they are trying to make us feel guilty for leaving early even though they told us to.

My managers, when I got back from vacation were happy to see me. But one of them. I think was joking? said “no more vacations” jokes on him because I’m taking another vacation on Labor Day weekend. I don’t work weekends and I doubt I’ll be working Labor Day after the Memorial Day fiasco. So I’ll only need Tuesday off because we always go Saturday- And come back Tuesday to avoid traffic.

I can’t (actually nobody) can tell if the new coworker has a language barrier or a mental disability. People are calling her dumb and stupid though behind her back. One guy said he felt bad for her. The only thought I really have of her is that she talks too much. I literally have no emotions for her. With everything else I have going on I can’t be troubled with her the way everyone else seems to be.

I honestly don’t think I’ve felt this stressed or discouraged by my job before.

These past weeks are hell.
I've been slowing down my working pace. There's no point on finishing my work before the deadline. They are all either cancelled halfway or completely changed because all the managers and executives can't make up their minds. And I'd ended up wasting my time and effort for doing something that'll end up in the corner of my folder. The good thing about working here is they aren't too manipulative like my past empolyers, although they DO abuse their power and position. I can't wait for the working visa application. Hope the immigration will open the registration soon. |

everyone else in my dept wasn't working this afternoon, except for me. I emailed my boss to tell him he has to take something off my plate. I am irate that I have to work this weekend too, which I told him about.

My pants got too big and I was pulling them up nonstop all day today. They were really annoying and stressing me out. Plus people were giving me weird looks. I am buying a belt tomorrow for sure.
Management was also kinda stressful today although that wasn’t because of me. __________________ Ridin' with Biden |

Also just because it takes a couple seconds for me to get a grip on a box does not mean it’s heavy. There’s a difference between heavy and awkward. Sometimes they can get a bit ridiculous with the whole team lift thing. If I need help I know to ask for it.

I'm angry right now.
I'm taking a sick leave today due to a fever. I want to fully rest, but these idiot supervisors' stupidity causes me a mess. I have to do the work at home in fever. So another department supervisor asked me to do a task. Such an idiot because he can ask me a few days earlier. It is not a sudden task, he had been informed a few days before. But he asked me today anyway and today is his deadline. Meanwhile, my supervisor from my department CAN DO the job and he SUPPOSED TO COVER ME when I take a leave. But he and that supervisor have a stupid dispute over a girl coworker and personal stuff and have been avoiding each other for months. He refuses to do the job involving said supervisor. If I had worse temper, I probably slapped them using the keyboard. |

Is everyone here an office worker or other professional area? I work production and don't have the "teamwork" type stress you are all speaking of. I don't have to really talk to anyone. I just keep my head down and do my job. There ARE, however, issues of people working like slow molasses which puts more work on those of us who bust *****.

I’m a retail worker.
Today the opening manager was an hour late and she told us she would be an hour late. When we were all already in the parking lot. so my department manager, and 2 other people from my department and myself all got into one car and went out to McDonald’s. It’s nice to be in the “in” crowd. Plus we got paid for that half hour we missed. But now I’m working tomorrow. __________________ Ridin' with Biden |
