I wonder how safe it is going to be for us to be working tomorrow and Friday when the heat index will be 112.

My coworker was complaining about how she didn’t want to work tomorrow and how she was going to just ask if she could not come in. That seems pretty stupid. If you want to try to get the day off you have to try a subliminal approach. It’s not guaranteed to work but outright asking for the day off seems foolish.

It doesn't get any better. They know I have tons of tasks ahead, but they still added more projects on me. They told me to finish them all quick

I try to work as fast as possible, but NAH! I refuse to rush everything up. It reduces the quality of my work and also makes me lose my sanity. It's not my fault; it's them. They're out of their minds. Developing three products with 2 days deadline (along with other projects) are crazy to start with. I did get extension, but it won't enough with more projects come asking to be done first.

Moreover, there is one particular supervisor who asked me to do his project first, but he took 4-days vacation while I have work on his project. I refused. I put his project on the end of my priority despite his plea. I have more urgent work to do and he MUST wait for the queue. I won't give any special ticket on him anymore. The last time I worked on his project first, I got tons of additional works. Anyway, this is the same supervisor who urged me to work at home when I was sick a few weeks ago.

I drove by work yesterday on my day off because I was going that way anyways and I didn’t see that coworkers car. I guess she must have called off because she didn’t feel like coming in. Real mature. Also this one coworker and I had been friends kinda but I didn’t really like her so I was just pretending to like her and then she quit texting like 3 weeks ago but I didn’t actually realize it and it literally took me until last night to realize she had ghosted me 3 weeks ago. Now I only have the one to deal with thank god.

It's all pointless.....

Today is Monday. They all want to change the design concept again. That means I haveto rwork and revise all of the last week projects.

Grgrgrgrgrrrrrrr...... What the..? Can't they be consistent at least? I'm barely working on the new projects. They have been snowballing since I have to working on the same project over and over.

So angry right now I can't type prperly or use the rght grammar.

Cant wait to quit.

Ugh, I have spent half the day dealing with something so stupid and worthless that it should be eliminated from the content we publish. What a waste of time! On top of that I have had to clean up countless of the bimbette's messes. Then, I spent half an hour helping a co-worker with something in Portuguese. She gets 6 quick updates out of the information I helped her with added to her stats. I get nothing. I hate that the editor told everyone I speak Portuguese. I keep getting requests for help. If it were actually appreciated by my boss it would be one thing, but of course it is not.

And to top it off, our boss is on another of her constant medical leaves. I needed to ask 3 times between her boss and HR to get approval to take tomorrow off since, even though I sent a request before her leave, she never got around to approving it. Apart from those administrative things, her absence shows how worthless she is.

In the same boat. My employer has been very understanding with my health issues, (chronic migraines). These have subsided but now I am struggling with my mental health and cannot afford to miss any more work. Meds make it hard to stay awake and even when I am feeling okay, I have a hard time thinking clearly enough to feel engaged in my work. More of a gripe with my health I suppose but still work related.

My new coworker came up right behind me today and didn’t say anything until I turned around and saw her. It was a little bit creepy. I honestly thought she was going to ask for some of my chips and guacamole because she was that close to me and I didn’t know what else she would want. It turned out she just wanted to introduce herself to me. Which was nice but creeping up on me like that was just a weird thing to do. Also there’s a new manager but I haven’t met him yet. I’ve heard from other people that he’s nice. Every manager is nice when they first start though. I’m not sure my job would let someone get away with someone being a complete *** to people though. All in all they are a decent company to work for.

It annoys me when people post on Facebook about spending alot of money frivolously but they don’t have a job but they also post about getting social security. I wouldn’t necessarily be posting that if I was them. Someone could report them to social security.

When you train the new person and they get cranky when you offer to help them do something and they say in a rude way “I can do it” well excuse the **** out of me I didn’t want to train you in the first place but I was forced to do it by management.

I was texting one of my coworkers and she said the new coworker was being pretty nasty to her. So she’s not being that way only to me and it’s nothing I’m doing. But I find that really rude to come into a work space as a new equal employee and start bullying the other employees who have been there way longer then you have. Does anyone else agree with me?

I worked with that new coworker all day today and had no issues. Someone jammed the compacter real bad though and was told to stay and finish all the garbage but there was a huge amount of it and she couldn’t really leave because we can’t leave the back room unattended but everyone just left and went home and left her to deal with the mess herself. I mean it’s her own fault for jamming the thing in the first place.

Communication is poor at my workplace. There was an outburst this week that I didn't witness. The other new hires did though. We were put in the middle of someone else's conflict which isn't fair to us. Since that happened everyone is careful about what they say and do. The atmosphere at work was particularly horrible yesterday. I felt like leaving around noon to get away from it.

I have been at this place since the end of April and am still in training. It has gone on way too long. The new training program was poorly planned out. I'm bored, because there is very little to do.

Since the outburst we are not allowed to do anything but work on the training. I wish we were told that right at the beginning, on the very first day.

Hopefully work goes better then it did on Friday. I plan on just asking my manager if I am supposed to be off on that day I normally work. If he says yes I am supposed to be off then I’m going to bring it up with my therapist who was the one who told me to tell them about my anxiety in the first place.

we had a great day at work. just enough customers to make it ok, one manager bought drinks for everyone, I bought a pizza near dinner time and we all ate in the back room (in shifts). decided that on sundays when everyone is there we will order out Chinese, mickey d's or pizza just as a fun thing and as a way to end up eating at a normal time.

plus we had roofers. roofers. big handsome roofers. who needed to be checked on many times ...so we all divvied up that terrible job (not :-) )..safety it's a priority!

it was a good one!

Work was incredibly stressful for about half an hour but I had Xanax on me so I took one and then I felt totally fine for the rest of the day. There wasn’t anyone to ask about the schedule though. Hopefully there will be someone tomorrow.
