Oh don't get me started.
I hate when co workers refuse to stop talking to me.. I have work to do? When my door is shut, that means DON"T COME IN. |

I am being overworked. My boss said he would take a difficult client off my plate two weeks ago and he has not. He keeps giving me more work to do for them. I feel taken advantage of and used in a way. Wrung out and strung out. I am becoming increasingly unhappy there.
I am going to speak up about it tomorrow in my meeting with my boss. This is not right and not OK. __________________ "Twenty-five years and my life is still trying to get up that great big hill of hope for a destination" ~4 Non Blondes |

My boss is taking that client off my plate in two weeks, thank goodness. But now I feel depressed about my work, and I don't know why. Maybe because two new people were hired in. my group, and it completely changes the dynamic that I was enjoying with one of my teammates. We all sit together, and he and I used to talk shop just the two of us. Now it's a whole group, and I feel like I don't know as much as I thought I did. It's humbling. One of the new guys is kind of arrogant too. Yuck.

Yes, this. Then they blow up my phone all night with texts and YouTube videos. Sometimes I really do just want to leave work at work. It’s stressful.

I work with some developmentally disabled people. One is sweet but really you have to feel bad for her. She thinks the best of everyone and is very extroverted. But one time she had to bring her kids to work and they were like 20 years old and so it was obvious someone had taken advantage of her. So there is a good looking guy at work that makes normal women weak in the knees and one of my co workers who I *thought* was a good guy, went up to her and started teasing her about the crush she has on him.
I wanted to throw up and now I really don't want to talk to him anymore. I am hoping he will be retiring soon. |

My goodness. That is a bit off-putting, not to mention unprofessional. __________________ "Twenty-five years and my life is still trying to get up that great big hill of hope for a destination" ~4 Non Blondes |

My coworker texted me and she said another coworker found a coworker they don’t like on Facebook and found out his location and then these two coworkers went to where this coworker was located. I can see so many things wrong with this picture.

Monday morning. I am having my usual Monday anxiety about work. It's especially bad right now. I hate Mondays.

I'm staying home from work today. I have a legitimate excuse, because I have a fever. But I'm almost out of sick days for the year, and it's only April. I'm worried about what will happen if I need to take time off for mental health reasons. I guess I'd have to go on short-term disability but it doesn't pay as much as working full-time.

Work was kind of dumb today. People were moody. As was I. My coworker knew I had been in the ER because I had a cyst on my head but I didn’t tell anyone else. I was feeling pretty much fine besides the pain in my head. I wonder though if my coworker thought it was gross that I kept scratching and touching my head. It was absentmindedly though. I was wearing gloves.

One of my co workers was in a meeting all day long today... and it was splendid. I got so much done.
I wish I could change my office to someplace totally remote. For some reason my boss is no longer listening to me. He asked me to set something up 45 days out. I set it 48 days out (45 fell on a weekend) and he calls me up to say... why did you set it so far out? So I worked with him the fact that it was as close to 45 days as possible and he is like "oh ok". Angered me. He has SOOO much to do and he is freaking out over that? If he meant exactly 45 days out he should have said that. Then a co-worker asked if something was for us to do and I know it isn't. And he pipes up that it is.. even though, it makes zero sense. Also, fyi, he claims he knows it is for us to do... because he spoke to someone else... well, ok fine but maybe next time you could TELL us that? How are we supposed to know of these conversations? |

Ugh, my boss can be so dense sometimes. We had a client question about a subway line. The client wanted to know if it was underground or elevated and if it was elevated if it had viaducts. I found the designs, which were color coded and they clearly showed that the line was 100% underground, so no viaducts. I sent her the link and explained this. She tells me she doesn´t understand, it´s unacceptable and there is no way she can send it to the client, WTF¡?¡ Then she got snippy and said she’d just respond herself.

I have a long list of phone calls to make. I let them pile up so its my fault. I am very friendly and social so what gives with this phone anxiety?

Something really irked me at work today. I was working with my coworker who I really get along with. She mentioned the fact that I am “learning disabled” I said “wtf, did I tell you that?” She said something about how one day a few months ago I said I have trouble when people give me instructions. I had to tell her that no, I have bad GAD. Not a learning disability, and people giving me instructions just makes me anxious. But I didn’t tell her a few months ago that I have GAD because I didn’t want to disclose it with anyone at work.
It just annoys me that she would just assume I’m learning disabled based on a vague comment. Now I’m hesitant about saying anything to anyone. __________________ Ridin' with Biden |

I lost a lot of precious sleep last night, and I have no clue how I'm going to make it through work today. Normally, I would just call in sick, but I cannot today. Yuck. I'm doomed for this day.

I didn’t want to be at work today and the day dragged on, but I made it through and people were nice. So that’s all that matters.
