Doesn't matter how they respond.....you all are done with them no matter what they say....so you can wrap up your emotional spending with them at this point.

I know how emotionally exhausting stuff like this is. My Calif lawyer pulled some crap on me right at the time Leo was dying...made me angry. I coukdn't deal with anything for several months & have been working at calming down my anger before I can logically figure out how to deal with it. These kinds of stressful situations are emotionally draining & just plain exhausting when importanr things need ones focus.

Hope this all gets put in the past very soon

I saw my email this morning and the lead person had responded with basically another non response email saying that it had been a long day and they were busy with other clients (man, point or advice to her, stop telling clients you are busy with other clients. No on wants to feel like they are not your priority). I mean, seriously, why does she think it's a good practice to continually tell a paying client that they arent a priority? That's why we're leaving you, duh.

There is a way to say you're swamped but still very aware of what your client needs without making your client feel like you don't care or aren't a priority. To be told three times now that they have more important things to do than work on our project is just rude and insulting.

What paying client wants to hear excuses when they paid for RESULTS?

This woman is never going to understand that we terminated the contract because of their attitude, first and foremost. Second would be their lack of experience in our industry. Third is the actual results. We understand getting PR takes time and requires a consistent strategy. But we aren't going to deal with this attitude and the poor behaviors of missing calls and meetings, being late and lying about it, and all this stuff that's clear BS. It makes us feel like we won't get any results even if we let them try for the next few months, you know?

I am perfectly fine working with a jacka$$ if they are good at what they do and deliver. But the quality of materials we have gotten and the excuses...if you're gonna have a chip on your shoulder at least back it up with being good at what you do. And I've known plenty of people who were just awful in terms of attitude but they backed it up with results, so in terms of a professional relationship, I let it pass. And I also just learned how to work with them.

I need to stop giving it space in my head. This is very much beyond my understanding, but I don't have to understand it.

But thanks for letting me vent. I still have a little ways to go before it's totally complete with them, so I may be back for some more venting.

Good to vent & get thoughts down in words. It helps clarify the thoughts into presentable logical thinking.

You all have sound reasons for terminating them.

Lol....yes jack@$$'s who get results we can tolerate.....the ones that just BS.....NO.
