I had two phone interviews and an in person interview the other day all went well. Uber moved onto the next candidate, nothing from Wells Fargo after I did fingerprinting, and this latest company had me do an Excel assessment which was stressful.
I pushed myself through to finishing the assessment a day and a half. Anyway, had more employers turn me down for work, still not hearing back from the other companies I've applied too. I'm going crazy after putting in numerous applications and nothing or if it's something I still don't meet the job description. I've applied to grocery stores to higher level companies like bank jobs. I'm applying to those saying hiring immediately yet still nothing. I hate call center jobs I finally left that good awful environment again. I want to go back to work now....😭 |

Are you still living in the same area? Is there anyway you can get out of there and go to a place that has more opportunities?

Hey, ladytiger, I'm sorry to hear that you've got problems with finding a job.
What is the type of work you're applying to? Are there any other skills that you can try to monetize (even if you don't see a way to do it, there's still a huge chance)? Maybe you could show your resume, so we could work on improving it. |

I'm applying to tech and finance, warehouse, anything that sounds interesting with no phone work. I've applied to jobs where I think my skills may not apply but I go for it anyway |

So I update and do my own resumes which is flawless. The main problem is these idiot companies OMG taking way too long to respond. It was the same way when I was working and applying to jobs on the side. I've been to every recruiting company and the same recruiting companies for the past now 5 years. I've been targeting the big name companies those are the ones I hardly hear back from |

Try working through a temp service for them. That's how I've worked for them. They hire people after seeing how they mesh with the company. Plus you'll gain experience.

I've been going through temp agencies for the past 5 years. My resume shows off and on temp work which employers frown at. I'm working with a staffing agency had an interview for a corporate front desk position.
Other temp agencies are not responding to me when I reach out doesn't surprise me. I just left a temp agency too. I'm still applying and seeing if I get the corporate job. I have another interview on Monday. |
