Of course, that's in the toilet now.

This time last week I was high as a kite because I thought I had a small chance that some hard work would pay off and I could quit my job and focus on what I love.

Today some reality checks arrived and I know now it's not going to happen. No way, no how. The project I've devoted myself to, as good as it is, is not going to get me out of my job any time in the foreseeable future, and probably never will.

I wonder what it's like to succeed at something.

Thanks for sharing this. I hope that, in some way, some good can yet come from this experience.
