The managers at my job are really unprofessional. Today the supervisor filing in refused to make eye contact with me and when I asked him questions he completely ignored me. When we were going on break he made a snide comment and said “someone isn’t working fast” when I asked who he was talking about he again completely ignored me. Then right before I left a couple coworkers got called into the office to sign some paperwork and one of my coworkers misunderstood and thought that the store manager was calling me too. When I walked into the office with the others the manager glared at me and said “what’s up?” In a rude way and I said “I thought you wanted me here” and he shook his head and had a very angry look on his face.” It was a ****ing mistake. He got so upset at me that the coworker who never apologizes but often should actually apologized to me cause he was being such an ***. Apparently that supervisor was rude to someone else who texted him about how to call in sick. He texted back. “Don’t know. Never called in sick. LOL.” And also the store manager was gossiping to another coworker about this other coworker and he said “she sure has a lot of problems.” Which sounds really mean and bordering on discrimination in my opinion. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to handle these managers?

Wow! That's very inappropriate behavior. But you have to be careful. In terms of hierarchy, where are they and where are you? Who do they report to and who do you report to? Also, is there an HR manager?
I'm not saying speak to any of these people, just trying to get a feel for how it's set up and what their titles are so we can see who you might discuss this with without retaliation. Mountaindewed, do you have an HR department? Do you have an EPA? Do you have a Terms of Reference? I am wondering because each of these things represents a standard operating procedure that can't be deviated from. Each of these things are there for your benefit to prevent such poor conduct. Your HR Department is there to redress grievances about conduct in the workplace. An EPA is there to help you deal with the negative personal fall-out from stress factors and such in the workplace. A Terms of Reference outlines your responsibilities and expectations. This is critical as by dictating these it in turn documents the responsibilities and expectations of your leadership.

Good luck. You may be able to address this professionally via filing a complaint with HR but in my experience HR works for the Business not the employees---but it sounds, from your description that the manager is creating a hostile work environment...take a look at the workplace handbook/policies/procedures and see if there is a specific standard/behavior that you can address. Otherwise, but this is just me, I think life is too short (when it doesn't seem too long) to waste your time if you can go elsewhere.
