Hello pestw: I noticed this is your first post here on PC. So... welcome to Psych Central.
If you should not find the member you're looking for here on PC as a result of this post, I might suggest the best way to get started may be to post a thread (possibly here in the Work & Careers forum) providing more information with regard to what occurred. This may attract the attention of a member who would be interested in communicating with you more in-depth by personal message. In the meantime, here are links to 5 articles, from Psych Central's archives, on the subject of job loss: Coping with Unexpected Job Loss 7 Steps to Surviving Job Loss Coping with Sudden Unemployment 12 Depression Busters for the Unemployed %post_title I hope you find PC to be of benefit. __________________ "I may be older but I am not wise / I'm still a child's grown-up disguise / and I never can tell you what you want to know / You will find out as you go."
