Hi,my job is boring,my salary is small,my week program unstable,i have stress to take the proper decisions if needed and i lack communication with other people around me,even to say a good morning or hello around with people i work seems to me hard.I know i'm depressed, not diagnosed yet but i feel it.

My CV is pretty weak to search something better and level up,i gave up my degrees early and now fighting back to finish one of them but need more time.My phone is ringing for some new jobs but i fear the change,i fear to change enviroment and i know i will feel uncomfortable into people i don't know.

Sometimes I write down all my goals when I have a lot I want to accomplish and I don’t know where to start. It sounds like you have the current work issue, the stress of possibly going to another job plus school you want to finish. There could be some big decisions and commitments to make here. Would it help to write down a list of pros and cons to help decide whether you really want to stay at this current job? There have been times in my life that it was best to stay where I am and there have been times when it was best to step outside my comfort zone. Timing is everything sometimes.

Also, are there some things you can do to help build your confidence and improve your communication? Join Toastmasters maybe? Join some Meetup groups?

Good luck to you!

I'm going to challenge you and say do you really not have time for those interests? It seems like you've nailed down some of your interests in that post. I am not trying to downplay what you're going through; I say that because sometimes people can find time to do things they love even though they're busy.

why can't you do those things?
how long is your work shift?
how long is your commute?
do you work 7 days/week?

I am guessing that once you put it all down on paper you will see that there is actual time for you do get out and do things....
you might just need to motivate yourself to get up and do it. I know it can be difficult when you are tired, depressed etc., but I also know that if you begin walking, moving doing activities you enjoy then life will seem more pleasurable.

Why to say lies? I work 6/7 every weekend, with just few hours free 2 mornings and that's all.If i will go to gym,go bike,do electric guitar lessons, walk alone out, listen some music etc, there is no further time just to relax.I have try it all and after a period i just couldn't continue and retired these activities,or at least not going too often so be satisfying for me.

what bare the shifts you work each day? 9-5? for example
how long is the commute? each way?
I ask this because if you really wanted to make time for thither things like the gym, bijke rides, social events, etc you could fit them in. it mayn not be easy , but it could be done.

I worked 6:30n-3:00 daily. i took public trains to work which meant leaving at my home at 5:30 am, upon arriving in nyc, I then switched to a subway which was a good 15 minute ride and then to a 15 minutes boat ride to work. repeat the same home 0nly longer. any part of the trip could be delayed. after work I was tired fro dealing with 23K people/day but still I made sure I =went running, or to the gym or did something for ME, it was too easy to get sucked in to the void of unhappiness., you have to make the physical choice to act out & do something.

The case is not to fit them into but what free time is left for me after doing these activities,no point for me to go 1 hour and a half do gym or a walk and after go home for shower, for lunch and after awhile leave house for job.You should understand that there is no point to push your program to the limits so to force your self for an activity you like, there is no fun to me do like this cause at the end of the day i remain still unhappiness.

Yeah, could fit some of them in,but should wake up earlier which means less sleeping which is bad cause you will go to work and you will feel out of energy.I could go to take guitar lessons twice a week, but no point at all as then i cannot find enough time for home practice.

well I guess it boils down to if you wanted to do these activities and found them important then you would find time. no one can make time for you or adjust your schedule but you or decide your priorities. it's up to you.

good luck in your struggle
