I took a big step today. I was asked to resign and under care of a doctor in a hospital. Which caused a spiral downwards. I just emailed the CEO and told him of my experience with the company. I explained that there needs to be greater training to handle mental illness in a mental health agency.

I'm like, whoa, Did I just send that?? I hope it's received well. I"m not scared, well I am a little. But I hope it helps others to see that mental health concerns should not be taken lightly.
It almost caused a sui.

it's a brave step, don't worry..if you have been asked to leave there really isn't much they can do.

if they decide to rescind that , then document everything that happens to you. this way if there is a pattern of abuse you can protect yourself.

they asked you to resign..what if you say no, then what?

good luck, stay safe, and as I said..document everything.

I don't know what would have happened if I said no. They could have fired me. The hard part is they want to increase their retention rate of employees. Which they didn't do. But I am over the heartbreak if the loss. They can't do much to get me back. Even if that means being without a job over Christmas and Thanksgiving.

Them pushing you to resign keeps them for your filing for unemployment.

My husband was put in that position before and he also resigned but by the time he got to the car he realized what they did... nothing he could do then.

He could have at least gotten unemployment if they fired him.

I’m sorry this happened to you.
