So this is what happened for these past weeks:

My previous manager quit and replaced with two managers. One is awfully incompetent and toxic. The other one is fine, would like to work her with her under normal circumstances. But she can't save me from the other crazy manager.

Ever since their arrival, my tasks have been doubled to the point that I can't finish them under the deadlines anymore, despite me working overtime. I got so many messages from everyone about work, even during the day-off or after work. It feels like a terror. Once, I leashed out at everyone at work because they urged me to work during my planned leave. No one helps or back me up. Some nice coworkers (from another division) take a pity on me, but there's nothing they can do. The root behind this is because now we have two managers, two supervisors, and still only one designer: me.

I want to quit, but I still haven't found any job yet. The fine manager knew. She wanted me to stay, so I asked for a raise and hire a junior staff to help me out. The CEO refused the raise, but they agreed with the latter. Today I looked at their job ads, it turned out that they will pay the future junior staff higher than my salary. It's so disappointing.

What happened today:

Today is the last working day for this year. It ended with a hotheaded argument with the crazy manager. Apparently, she wants to change the old system which is actually unnecessary, which will triplet our division work. Why does she want to change it? Well she sees the fine manager as a rival and she doesn't want to lose, so she wants to make an 'innovation' by following the changes from the other manager.

(let me make it clear. The fine manager is hired to rebrand one of the old brand, so yeah there will be a lot of changes. Meanwhile, the crazy manager is hired for supporting the sales team with fine marketing strategies or programs. So, she does not have to make any changes with the existing brands. Anyway, she has not propsed any strategies nor programs yet).

Uggh... I wish I could control myself over that argument. I was so unprofessional, but I know I'm not the one to be blamed. She said that I shouldn't talk to her that way. She swore that she never been mad with anyone from my team. But yesterday, I heard that she shouted to one of the supervisors. It was not the first time anyway. So, who is the hypocrite now?

Why couldn't I get any job soon? I can't work under this pressure anymore.

(Funny thing is, somehow I feel happier after the argument. I guess I'm glad to made her a bad day)

I don't blame you for getting mad. It is unbelievable how unfair things are at work. And I think they don't appreciate you because they already have you, but they idealize a new junior employee because they haven't fought with them yet.

What used to happen to me was that companies would see specialized skills on my resume and hire me for entry level jobs with low pay. Then they would demand that I take over graphic design and computer work so they can stop paying expensive contracted workers to do those jobs. A lot of employers suck and I'm totally pissed off with the way you are being treated.

It is really depressing when you can't find a new job and they know you are stuck. Have you considered leaving a review on glassdoor.com about your experience in the company? It might not do much but sometimes negative feedback makes me feel a little better.

I hope you will eventually find a better job. They will be in trouble when you leave because they rely on you so much now. I once quit a job without telling a supervisor a password for a thing they used every day that I created/updated. They took it for granted that it would always work until the new year rolled around and no one knew how to change the year. By then I was far away and didn't reply to their email. That was my tiny revenge.

Hang in there. It's infuriating being treated like that especially when you know your own worth.

Yeah, they don't appreciate me at all. Actually, I'm not the only one who feels this way. A lot of employees feel the same, but they have better managers and/or supervisors.

I'm sorry that you had to endure that. The same thing also happened to me in this workplace, so I know what does it feel.

(Anyway, I'm not from US so we don't use Glassdoor, but similar sites). Sure, I'll leave a negative review, but after my resignation. I'll be in trouble because of yesterday's argument with the crazy hag manager, so I don't want to add more gasoline to the fire at the moment.

Thanks for your sweet support. I really mean it.

I'm sorry the same thing happened to you too. You can wait until you are secure in a new position before leaving a review. If the review site allows anonymity, that would be even better.

I wish you luck! I really wish the world was a better place.

Today, she did it again. She fired one supervisor, the reason is because she just doesn't like her. What I hate more is, the HR did not ask or try to defend my supervisor. They just let her go for that unethical reason.

Even though I have decided to resign, it made me wonder that am I going to be the next? In fact, the rest of the team wonders the same thing. She has demotivated us. They also thinking about resigning, even though they were trying to convince me not to quit a while ago.

It also make me wonder, is she giving me all these crazy workload because she wants me to quit by myself? Because unlike my aupervisor, she cannot fire me immediately due to my permanent status.

On the good side, my supervisor is free now and this event has degraded her crazy low reputation further.
