I have a good friend who knows many of my coworkers. She and her mother have loose lips, no boundaries about which facts about a person should remain personal. However, I love her despite that because she's a great friend in every other way and a good role model and we have fun;.
I live where medical marijuana is legal. I hadn't told my friend that i hard a card because I didn't want her to know and tell coworkers, and then it affects how they regard me. (I live in another state, so they don't have medical marijuana.) So I slipped up and told her I tried edibles. Then I froze (over the phone) and acted surprised that I hadn't told her. She had a few questions about it. I know she detected that I had kept it a secret because she's very perspective and knows me very well. What should I do? Am I worrying about nothing? I've always worried about not being perfect at work and now I'm really freaking out that people (esp. my manager) will hear about my mj use and blame it on that. Have you tried asking her to keep it to herself? If she is a good friend, she should have no problem doing that

Mistress, I should have thought of that! I'm so worried about keeping my feelings hidden.
I just called her and she said she wouldn't tell anyone. Now I just need to trust that . |

I glad I could help. We can get so worried and not see the obvious sometimes. Im sure you can trust her if she is that good of a friend.
