I'm fed up with the way I'm treated, even my mom suggests quitting. I was trying to stay two years so I could qualify for a car loan, 4 months left. But honestly i don't know if i can.
I started applying for jobs today. All pay more but not too much to lose my disability some are in my degree field. My true afford car plan is 3 years anyway just have to make due with my current car longer. __________________ Son: 14, 12/15/2009 R.I.P. Daughter: 20 Diagnosis: Bipolar with Psychosis. Dear Aviza,
I am so sorry that you are not treated well. Wish I knew what to say that would be helpful. I hope things get better for you! Sincerely yours -- Yao Wen |

Do you think finding a new job right now with this pandemic going on is wise?

Nothing wrong with applying for jobs and interviewing via phone etc and perhaps starting after pandemics, unless you find a job working online then you can start now, or if you aren’t afraid of working with public, grocery store chains are still hiring

Also all grocery stores and fast food places by me are hiring. Sure it’s scary but if someone already works with public, it might not be that different for them. Hospitals are hiring. They are short staffed now. Many people just need the money and it’s worth the risk for them. If Aviza is struggling, which she mentioned before, finding a better paid job and not losing disability is a desirable outcome. we all stuck at home so now is a good time to look for opportunities |

I'm working now, I'm overqualified for grocery store jobs. I've applied. I'm looking for jobs that are still in business, insurance companies, banks. I might take that money and get certified as a mortgage banker. It's where I really want to go. I'm still thinking but for now applying.

Yes lots of places are hiring right now, My Brother manages a grocery store in Florida and hes hired dozens of workers, some were people on disability and had limited amount of hours they could work and its been difficult for his department heads to keep track of them when making schedules... but as this crisis passes he will not need all those employees. So Aviza needs to make sure that the job isnt just temporary. Right now she probably has a low risk job? I think its for a chiropractors office?? I may easily be mistaken.. Im glad your daughter found a great job and is able to start working during this pandemic __________________ Helping others gets me out of my own head ~ |

Oh my daughter has a job. She just found a better paid position and will start a new job without gap in employment. It’s exact same thing she always does but this firm pays better. |
