I thought when my boss asked for our time cards last week, she'd be issuing paychecks without me having to ask. Well not the case, still no paycheck cause i didn't ask her to write the check. It was due Friday. She worked Saturday. She basically wants volunteers not employees. Maybe I should tell her that.

Telling your Boss she must want only volunteers is pretty rude and confrontational. Sure she should remember but not everyone is organized. Why cant you just ask her on X day for your paycheck? Yeah sure you should not have too but to me it isnt something Id make a big deal over it.
For a long time you have been unhappy with your Boss... Maybe you do need to find a new job, but with Corona pandemic going on I think it might be difficult to find one.. Sure grocery stores etc are hiring but they are hiring people for temp work. I also think you mentioned your too educated to do that kind of work. Maybe you should start looking for a new job and see if there is something that would be a better fit for you. I know you have a limit on the amount of money your able to make each month. Good luck __________________ Helping others gets me out of my own head ~ |

I’d ask for a check. Or better yet request direct deposit

Small business, direct deposit not an option. She just started with a payroll company, see how it goes. So far they've sent 3 emails requesting information for payroll, she hasn't done it yet.
